Hello everyone!

Well it looks like i might be the oldest person in the guild, 
I am a recently retired Truck driver, I am Older then 50 but younger then 53. I am a woman and drove truck with my husband for 17 years, we own a farm in Oregon so i needed to stay home to take care of it. The black berry briers were taller then the barn. 
I am looking forward to leveling up my toon's and maybe even being a value to the guild someday. I will be going to college in September for an art degree. I will have a light schedule the first and second year so i should have plenty of time to play. also My Grand daughter is going to Art college as well, she is going for Concept art, so she can design part's of these games. Nice to meet you all. Zzapp

Hello there Zzapp. I'm glad to see a person who has experienced much more in life than what most of us have in ours. If I may ask, being a truck driver, did you see many of the wonders along the road? I am most curious and would love to hear your stories of old and anew. I, myself, am wanting to go back to college for an art certificate. Particularly animation and visual effects. Have you decided on what type of art you'll be focusing on yet?

Hi Heartsmith. I have seen so many things out on the road, to many to recount on here maybe in time you'll get to hear some of my most memorable ones, Most of the things i saw were traffic related and some very dumb drivers that you would wonder how on earth did they ever get a licence to drive a car let alone a truck. The degree i am getting is called associate of Science, with a focus in art. I originally was looking for a degree in Photography, but after finding out that this course covers Photography as well I had to go for it. I do encourage you to go to college, I say follow your dreams what ever they may be, I had children at a young age and made some decissions that took me away from my dream of becoming a college grad, so here I am 50 and going now. Never to late though. I do want to say though if i ever miss a message on the game chat i am so sorry i try to keep up with whats going on in the guild but sometimes I get to into what im doing and might miss messages, If so keep trying if you really need me. Even driving around town I notice and think the same things. It's completely reckless, and it worries me that when I'm driving my daughter to school, some driver (who either doesn't have a license, or does but they aren't obeying the speed limit and traffic laws) will ram into me, injuring my little girl :c. As for your schooling, I wasn't aware that Associate of Science covered photography. Amazed I am, I didn't hear about this earlier. I do want to go back, not to follow my dreams, rather to embrace new experiences. I loved my time spent in college, I was just ever so sad that when I became a grad, my friends drifted apart.
If you miss a message, it is completely fine. We all have our moments when we ignore guild-chat (By mistake or not) and let me assure you, it is not frowned upon. I catch myself doing it when in a battleground. If it's important, we will most likely contact you via whisper (Whispering will be in Purple text, is private and makes a ding sound to notify you).
