Gearing new 60s

I don't know if this is still a viable option, but what do people think about giving newly level 60 members armor/weapons as a reward for max level? It was probably more practical before, back when Agnitor was actually somewhat useful, but it would be a nice gesture to at least give a deathsdain set...

Mmmh.. I like the idea, however I'd like to suggest one thing.
Instead of "giving" new level 60s gear, why don't we take them on Balder's Temple (1 Person) and have them grab all the loot? That way they get Oculus and gain some experience in level 60 Dungeons?
And to answer future questions about the dungeon, (1 person) does not mean only one person may enter. It just means that a person may/can solo it. The dungeon becomes easier compared to normal.

I like Izurah's idea of taking them to get gear themselves because then they actually learn something in the process.

I agree. I didn't know BT solo could be done in parties, that would be a great way to do beginner gearing runs.

I was just as shocked as you were when finding it out. The only problem is you can only run it two times then wait for the cooldown. But it's still worth it, in my opinion.
